5 Neck Fan / Air Conditioners To Keep You Cool!

If you live where I live in the north east there is no denying that right now we are going through one of the hottest heatwaves in memory. If you have to be outside during the day the “real feel” temperatures can reach upwards of 100deg at peek times! I recently came across these neck fans and to my surprise as a portable cooling device they worked quite well!

One word of note, some of these are simply fans, while others claim to be air conditioners. I don’t want to discount the air conditioners as “snake oil” because as you know there is no refrigerant running through the neck fan, but rather a metal cooling plate that can assist cooling you slightly more than the fan alone.

Below you will find my Top 4 Neck Fan / Air Conditioners and one to avoid!

My number one choice also happens to be the most expensive neck fan, actually this one is listed as a neck air conditioner.  This fan provides the best cooling with one of the highest air speeds, while having very low vibration and a whopping 9 hour battery life!

My second choice was the ChillGo which is one of the least expensive options in this list. I like the ChillGo because its cooling capacity is very similar to the Torras, but at an exceptional value. It is also easy to direct the airflow to where you need it, plus it folds for portability The vibration on your neck is more, however this unit can run for 8 hours on its highest setting. For what it costs this is an excellent value!

Third on the list is from a company called Jisulife. This fan also provides plenty of cooling at a low price. This one is so quite during operation you can barely hear it run. If you have long hair this fan is designed to keep your hair out of the path of the motor. There are 5 speed settings to choose from, however the battery only lasted 1.5 hours on the highest setting.

#3 JISULIFE – Portable neck fan “upgraded model”
Jisulife
#3 Neck Fan (Ultra Quiet)

Brand: JisuLife

The fourth fan on our list is a bit on the expensive side, not as bad as the number one fan on the list, but still expensive none the less. The neck fan is made by Comlife and is reasonably quite, very good at keeping you cool, also has extremely low vibrations so its comfortable to wear and will run for an amazing 12 hours on a full charge! The only negative is the wind speed from this unit is not as fast as the others.  Oh and this one is also considered a neck “Air Conditioner”

#4 Comlife – Neck Air Conditioner

Of all the fans that were looked at this one stands out as a do not buy! The AJGJF brand was the least comfortable to wear, had the lowest fan speed, highest fan noise and worst vibration of all the neck fans that I tested.  Its moderately priced however its one to avoid.
